QED's Previous Projects
QED has been manufacturing and supplying corrosion inhibitors for the past 20 years. The company initially started trading in 1982 as PDQ working for the UK Concrete Association, during these early years PDQ were the largest surveyor and lab tester of concrete samples. The company name changed in 1989 to Queensway Expert Developments Ltd and continued trading under that name until 2005, when it rebranded as QED Chemicals Ltd.
QED continues to develop and innovate in this area and is recognised as a leading manufacturer of migrating corrosion inhibitors for the concrete repair industry in the UK.
Our products have been successfully used on over 800 projects over the last 20 years, some are listed below;
Some of these projects are now world heritage sites and carry the UK's highest protected status - Grade 1 Listed. Several of these buildings rank in the top 20 of the most significant architecture of the Modern period (built between 1920-1999); and without QED's products the repair would not have been possible.
