QED goes Green with the refurbishment of the Gatwick Transit Link

QED is selected by Structural Systems and Buro Hapold as the supplier of a 'zero-voc' Water Based Epoxy system for internal protection of the steel box section making up the structure of the Gatwick Internal Rail Transit System.

QED forms JV to setup XQ International in partnership with XCalibur International based in Dubai

QED is happy to annouce the formation of a new JV company - XQ International Ltd a Hong Kong based company. The combined products from both companies will ensure that XQ has a large portfolio of products to supply to customers in the structural repair and refurbishment field with a global footprint. Initial offices will be in Dubai, Hong Kong and the UK.
 
QED launches VPI1020 Anti-corrosion Patch System

QED has appointed Beijing Jinpusen Tech.Co.,Ltd as its new Chinese distributor


QED has been looking for a partner in China for some time and has appointed Jinpusen Tech as its representative in China. Jinpusen bring with them over 15 years experience in the Chinese Conrete Repair Industry.
 
Jinpusen are currently progressing approvals for the full range of QED products according to local legislation and hope to be using QED's products later in 2007.

QED is developing a new Zero VOC paint on corrosion inhibitor

QED has began development of a new paint on corrosion inhibtor that is useful for protecting bridge structures that cannot use our normal range of inhibitors.
 
Dominic Brodrick, UK MD, states 'we have recognised the need for a specialist product that can be used where are other products can't, typicall were drilling concrete could lead to a loss in the structural integrity in pre and post-formed structures. Once the trials have been completed, we aim to have the product on the market by November 2007'
